The Chosen Clone™

A custom 1/6 scale kitbash figure created by Pyroxene-Kids

:star: The Chosen Clone™ is a custom creation of my version of the Courier from the Fallout: New Vegas video game.

Kitbashing or model bashing is a practice whereby a new scale model is created by taking pieces out of commercial kits. These pieces may be added to a custom project or to another kit.

:star: :star: NOTICE: I will update this description box with a link to a proper character sheet, a drawing of my character, including the complete background story behind "the Chosen Clone™".

Background

First of all, I must confess that I'm a HUGE fan of Fallout 3. No other game compares to the satisfaction you get from blowing up Megaton or fighting along-side Liberty Prime. ""Liberty Prime is online. All systems nominal. Weapons hot. Mission: the destruction of any and all Chinese communists." Haha

Fallout: New Vegas came out, and it was an entirely new adventure set in the Mojave Desert, surrounded of the remains of Las Vegas in the year 2281.

The Chosen Clone™
(*The Courier is the player character and main protagonist in Fallout: New Vegas.)

*This is a comment reply that I wrote to explain the Chosen Clone™ character. I will update this information later,
but for now this is the best explanation of my character until I finish uploading photos and update everything:

My Courier is actually a clone of the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3.

If you recall (or played) in Fallout 3, the Lone Wanderer enters Vault 108, and you have
to fight off a bunch of psychotic Gary clones to survive.

Unbeknownst to the Lone Wanderer (or Fallout 3 player), the holodisk containing the Cloning log which
explains the Vault 108 cloning experiment, despite appearing only as a "text" in your PipBoy, actually contained a genetic recorder used to continue cloning the
Gary clones. You see, as the Gary clones grew more psychotic and delusional, killing non-Gary clones, they also would hurt themselves and commit suicide (I mean,
come on, how do insane psychotic clones not eventually kill themselves during a state of delusional delirium stuck in a vault?).

The scientists THOUGHT the experiment was all about the "Gary clones", and that the side-effects of the psychosis was an unexpected event, BUT the Vault 108 truth
is the experiment was to see how long the scientists would keep trying to "fix" the clones, before they were all murdered by the clones.

Oh, and here's the kicker! The "cloning process" wasn't the problem. The ORIGINAL Gary was a psychotic, criminally insane sociopath. The entire thing was fixed so that the
clones would ALWAYS go "psychotic" and kill, because that was the nature of the original.

The process required a way for these Gary clones to eventually make their way around Vault 108, trying to figure out what the heck is going on, all while the cloning process actually built INTO the Vault continued to automatically recreate these Gary clones, even after the murder of the scientists.

The Lone Wanderer leaves Vault 108, having killed the Gary clones to survive, BUT after a few months of development and growth, a Lone Wanderer clone is "born".

This Lone Wanderer clone has no clue what is going on, but having the intellect of his original genetic predecessor, quickly begins to educate himself and figure things out about the experiments of Vault 108 (this specific type of cloning attempts to replicate memory synapsis that allows the new clone to have the knowledge of the original; a process used by the U.S. military, before the Nuclear Fallout, to "replicate" fallen officers, Generals and important military assets.). Unfortunately, this doesn't always work very well, so the clone Lone Wanderer has scientific knowledge and general life survival experiences, but his "identity" is a haze and he is not sure who exactly he really is. He destroys the remains of the cloning process hidden from the original Lone Wanderer, and leaves to explore the Wasteland.

Eventually, after experiencing the horrors of mutants, ghouls, cannibals and slavers...this clone Lone Wanderer finds the Vault 13 jumpsuit, and hearing of the stories about the original Vault Dweller, becomes convinced in a state of delusional fantasy that he is the grandchild of the original Vault Dweller; the Chosen One.

He's a clone of the Lonesome Wanderer who became convinced in a haze of Mojave Desert delusion & mental breakdown, and truly believes he is the Chosen One, out to save the world, wearing his grandfather's Vault 13 armored jumpsuit. Due to the cloning process and Fallout radiation, he has lived for over a 100 years now and still hasn't died (kind of like Ghouls with the radiation making them live for hundreds of years). He even has a dog he named "dog meat".

Even though my Courier exists in the Fallout: New Vegas timeline, he's connected to Fallout 3 as the clone of the Lonesome Wanderer, believing himself to be the Chosen One from Fallout 2, which is the grandson of the Vault Dweller from Fallout 1.
